  • 6 small flour tortillas cut into triangles
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar for cinnamon sugar
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon for cinnamon sugar
  • 4 cups apples peeled, cored, and diced
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon for apple filling
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice for freshness
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch for thickening
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce for drizzling
  • 1 cup whipped cream for topping

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Brush tortilla triangles with melted butter and toss in a mixture of sugar and cinnamon. Arrange on a baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes until crispy.
  • In a saucepan over medium heat, combine apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, lemon juice, and cornstarch. Cook until apples are tender and sauce is thickened, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Arrange cinnamon sugar chips on a serving platter. Spoon warm apple filling over the chips.
  • Drizzle with caramel sauce and top with dollops of whipped cream. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

  • Storage: Best served fresh. Store leftover apple filling separately and reheat before serving.
  • Customization: Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream for an extra treat.
