  • 3 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts optional

Instructions
 

  • Line an 8x8-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang for easy removal.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk.
  • Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until the chocolate is melted and smooth.
  • Stir in the vanilla extract and salt until fully incorporated.
  • Fold in the chopped nuts if using.
  • Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
  • Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until firm.
  • Lift the fudge from the pan using the parchment paper and cut into squares before serving.
