Churro Churro Bombs are bite-sized deep-fried treats with a crispy exterior and soft, fluffy interior, coated in cinnamon sugar. Perfect for snacking or parties!
In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine water, sugar, butter, and salt. Bring to a boil, then remove from heat. Add the flour all at once and stir vigorously until the dough forms a ball.
Cool and Mix:
Let the dough cool for 5 minutes. Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth and well combined.
Heat the Oil:
Heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pan or pot to 375°F (190°C).
Shape the Dough:
Use a spoon or piping bag to form small balls of dough (about 1 tablespoon each). Carefully drop them into the hot oil.
Fry the Churro Bombs:
Fry the balls in small batches for about 2–3 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden brown and crisp. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
Coat in Cinnamon Sugar:
Mix the granulated sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl. Roll the warm churro bombs in the mixture until fully coated.
Serve and Enjoy:
Serve your churro bombs warm with your favorite dipping sauce, such as chocolate, caramel, or Nutella.
