Instructions
 

  • In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the cloudberries, sugar, and lemon juice. Stir well.
  • Bring the mixture to a simmer, stirring occasionally. Cook for 15-20 minutes until the berries break down and the jam thickens.
  • For a smoother jam, pass the mixture through a fine-mesh strainer to remove seeds (optional).
  • Remove from heat and let the jam cool slightly before transferring it to a sterilized glass jar.
  • Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks or process in a water bath for long-term storage.
