2 cups cloudberries fresh or frozen 1 cup sugar adjust to taste 1 tbsp lemon juice freshly squeezed 0.25 cup water optional, for a thinner consistency
In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the cloudberries, sugar, and lemon juice. Stir well.
Bring the mixture to a simmer, stirring occasionally. Cook for 15-20 minutes until the berries break down and the jam thickens.
For a smoother jam, pass the mixture through a fine-mesh strainer to remove seeds (optional).
