6 large glazed donuts cut into chunks 1 1/2 cups whole milk 1/2 cup heavy cream 3 large eggs 1/2 cup granulated sugar 1 tsp vanilla extract 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon 1/4 tsp salt 1/2 cup powdered sugar for glaze 2 tbsp milk for glaze 1/2 tsp vanilla extract for glaze
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the milk, heavy cream, eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt until well combined.
Place the donut chunks in the greased baking dish.
Pour the custard mixture over the donuts, pressing down gently to ensure they soak up the liquid.
Let the mixture sit for 10 minutes to allow full absorption.
Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the custard is set.
While the pudding bakes, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract to make the glaze.
Drizzle the glaze over the warm bread pudding before serving.
