1 cup kataifi pastry shredded and lightly crushed 2 tbsp unsalted butter melted 1/4 cup honey or date syrup 1 cup pistachio butter or finely ground pistachios mixed with a little cream 1/2 tsp cardamom powder 1/2 tsp rose water optional, for a floral note 2 cups dark chocolate melted 1/4 cup chopped pistachios for garnish 1 tsp gold leaf optional, for decoration
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Toss the kataifi pastry with melted butter and honey, then spread it evenly on the baking sheet.
Bake for 8-10 minutes until golden and crispy. Let it cool completely.
