Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup pistachios shelled and unsalted
  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 8 oz dark chocolate chopped (70% cocoa or higher)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp rose water optional, for a Middle Eastern twist
  • 1/4 cup pistachios chopped, for garnish
  • 1 tbsp edible gold flakes optional, for garnish

Instructions
 

  • In a food processor, combine pistachios, graham cracker crumbs, and granulated sugar. Pulse until finely ground. Add melted butter and pulse until the mixture resembles wet sand.
  • Press the crust mixture evenly into a 9-inch tart pan. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10-12 minutes until golden. Let cool completely.
  • In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream until it just begins to simmer. Remove from heat and pour over chopped dark chocolate in a bowl. Let sit for 2 minutes, then stir until smooth. Mix in rose water if using.
  • Pour the chocolate ganache into the cooled crust. Use a spatula to spread it evenly. Sprinkle with chopped pistachios and optional edible gold flakes.
  • Refrigerate the tart for at least 2 hours until the ganache is set.
  • Slice and serve this luxurious dessert. Enjoy!
