Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups besan (chickpea flour) fine-textured
  • 1/2 cup ghee melted
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
  • 2 tbsp chopped almonds or cashews
  • 1 tbsp raisins optional

Instructions
 

  • Heat ghee in a heavy-bottomed pan over low-medium heat.
  • Add the besan and roast, stirring continuously, for 10-12 minutes until golden brown and fragrant.
  • Remove from heat and let cool slightly before mixing in the powdered sugar, cardamom powder, and chopped nuts.
  • Allow the mixture to cool enough to handle, then shape into small, round ladoos using your hands.
  • Garnish with a raisin or almond on top if desired.
  • Let the ladoos set at room temperature before serving.

  • Storage: Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks.
