Ingredients

  • 2 cups ripe guava peeled, deseeded, and pureed
  • 1 cup heavy cream chilled
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp lime juice optional, for added tang

Instructions

  • In a blender or food processor, puree the guava until smooth. Strain to remove any remaining seeds, if necessary.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the guava puree, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, and lime juice (if using) until fully combined.
  • In a separate bowl, beat the heavy cream with an electric mixer or whisk until stiff peaks form.
  • Gently fold the whipped cream into the guava mixture until well incorporated.
  • Pour the mixture into a freezer-safe container, smooth the top, and cover tightly.
  • Freeze for at least 4 hours, or until firm. Scoop and serve cold.

Notes

  • Customization: Add a swirl of guava jam for extra flavor.
  • Serving Tip: Top with fresh guava slices or a sprinkle of coconut flakes.
  • Storage: Store in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 2 weeks.
