Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups water filtered
  • 2 bags black tea or green tea for a milder flavor
  • 1 cup lychee fruit fresh or canned, pitted and pureed
  • 3 tbsp honey adjust to taste
  • 1 cup ice cubes for serving
  • 1 tsp lemon juice optional, for extra freshness
  • 4 pieces lychee fruit for garnish

Instructions
 

  • In a saucepan, bring water to a boil. Remove from heat, add black tea bags, and steep for 3-5 minutes. Strain and let it cool.
  • In a blender, puree the lychee fruit until smooth. Strain to remove any pulp if desired.
  • In a pitcher, mix the brewed tea, lychee puree, and honey. Stir well and refrigerate for at least 40 minutes to chill.
  • Fill glasses with ice cubes, pour in the chilled lychee tea, and add a splash of lemon juice if using. Garnish with whole lychee fruit and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Optional Equipment: A blender can be used instead of mashing lychees manually.
  • Customization: Add mint leaves for extra freshness.
  • Storage: Store in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
