This refreshing Homemade Lychee Tea combines the delicate floral sweetness of lychee with black tea for a tropical and hydrating beverage, perfect for any time of the year.
1cuplychee fruitfresh or canned, pitted and pureed
3tbsphoneyadjust to taste
1cupice cubesfor serving
1tsplemon juiceoptional, for extra freshness

Instructions
In a saucepan, bring water to a boil. Remove from heat, add black tea bags, and steep for 3-5 minutes. Strain and let it cool.
In a blender, puree the lychee fruit until smooth. Strain to remove any pulp if desired.
In a pitcher, mix the brewed tea, lychee puree, and honey. Stir well and refrigerate for at least 40 minutes to chill.
Fill glasses with ice cubes, pour in the chilled lychee tea, and add a splash of lemon juice if using. Garnish with whole lychee fruit and serve immediately.
