1 cup unsalted butter softened 1 cup granulated sugar 1 large egg 1 tsp vanilla extract 1 vanilla bean seeds scraped from a real vanilla bean 2 cups all-purpose flour 1/2 tsp baking powder 1/4 tsp salt 1 cup powdered sugar for icing 2 tbsp milk for icing consistency 1 drop green food coloring for icing
In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar using an electric mixer until light and fluffy.
Mix in the egg, vanilla extract, and vanilla bean seeds until well combined.
Gradually add flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix until a smooth dough forms.
