  • 2 cups fresh strawberries hulled and chopped
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • In a blender or food processor, blend the strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice until smooth.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, milk, and vanilla extract.
  • Stir in the strawberry puree until well combined.
  • Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  • If not using an ice cream maker, pour the mixture into a freezer-safe container and freeze for 4-6 hours, stirring every 30 minutes for the first 2 hours.
  • Once firm, scoop and serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the freezer.

  • Storage: Store in a freezer-safe container for up to 2 weeks.
  • Customization: Add chocolate chips, crushed cookies, or a swirl of strawberry jam for extra flavor.
